Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to the Reasonfold website and to the Reasonfold-operated platform integrations described in section 5. Reasonfold is an independent product brand operated from Japan.

2. Information handled by this website

This website does not provide an inquiry form and does not use cookie-based analytics, advertising trackers, or advertising tags. Hosting and security providers may process standard technical records when necessary to deliver and protect the site.

3. Email inquiries

If you email support@reasonfoldhq.com, the operator of Reasonfold processes your email address, message content, and related information to respond to your inquiry, provide support, and keep records where reasonably necessary.

4. External services

This site links to external sales channels and social platforms, including Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, and X. After you leave this site, the destination service’s privacy policy applies to its collection and use of information.

5. Connected accounts and API integrations

Reasonfold connects its own accounts on third-party platforms in order to publish and manage its own listings and posts. This is an operator tool rather than a feature of this website: visitors do not connect accounts here, and Reasonfold does not act on behalf of anyone else’s account.

Where a platform uses OAuth, the authorization happens on that platform’s own sign-in page. Reasonfold does not receive or store platform passwords. What Reasonfold receives is an access token limited to the permissions granted at that moment, together with the names of those permissions and expiry information.

This currently applies to Etsy, where Reasonfold manages its own shop listings, and is intended to apply to Pinterest, where Reasonfold would read its own boards and create Pins on its own account. The Pinterest permissions requested are limited to reading and writing boards and Pins for the connected Reasonfold account.

The information handled through these integrations is limited to what those permissions cover: identifiers for the connected account and its boards, shops, listings or Pins; the content Reasonfold itself submits; and the responses the platform returns. It is used to publish content Reasonfold has approved, to resolve the correct destination, to avoid publishing the same item twice, to check after publishing that what went out matches what was approved, and to keep a record of what was sent. It is not used to build advertising profiles, is not sold, and is not used to examine other people’s accounts.

Credentials for these integrations are held in operator-controlled systems and are not intentionally published in website content or in public source repositories. They are kept only while they are needed to operate an authorized integration, and can be removed when an integration is discontinued or when authorization is revoked. Access can be revoked at any time from the platform’s own account settings, which ends Reasonfold’s access to it.

6. Security

Reasonfold aims to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission, service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Children

The website and Reasonfold products are not directed to children.

8. Changes

This policy may be revised as the website and products develop. A revised effective date will be shown here when changes are published.
